How Metamate uses the data needed for the website, games and your orders.

Depending on the features you use, the site processes your email address, username and information supplied by your chosen sign-in service, along with your games, results and ratings. These data support your account and game features.
When you order, delivery and billing details, items and payment references are used to process and follow up on your order. If you contact us, we use your message and contact details to reply.
Usernames, results and game information displayed on public profiles, games and rankings are visible to other visitors. Avoid a username containing information you do not want to make public.
Metamate uses Vercel for hosting and audience and performance measurement, Supabase for accounts and application data, Stripe for payment and Resend for emails. Data needed for each function are sent to the relevant provider.
If you choose a third-party sign-in service or follow an external link, that service also processes data under its own privacy information.
The language cookie remembers your choice for one year. Session mechanisms keep you signed in. Depending on your use, your browser also stores your cart, display preferences and training progress.
You can remove these data in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out and erase preferences or progress stored only on that device.
Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights measure page usage and performance. Events relate in particular to the tutorial, kit downloads and shop. Vercel designs Web Analytics to work without analytics cookies.
URL parameters and fragments are removed before events are sent by these components. Sign-in, account and order pages, and paths containing player or game identifiers, are excluded by this filter. This does not remove technical logs needed to operate the hosting service.
Account data are kept while the account exists. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at contact@metamate.ch. Order data and information needed for accounting or other legal obligations may need to be retained separately.
Data stored only in your browser remain on that device until replaced or removed by the site or by you.
Contact us to request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or to ask about their use. We may ask for information needed to verify that the request concerns you. Requests are considered in light of applicable legal obligations.
